Dr. Antoni M. Wichryk, O.D.
Doctor of Optometry Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry
Dr. Wichryk is a 1997 honors graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh, receiving his bachelors of science in microbiology in 1993. In 2013, Dr. Wichryk became one of the first board certified optometrists in Pennsylvania, and has since gone on to gain certifications in areas such as scleral lens fitting and corneal reshaping (orthokeratology).
As a Doctor and a community member, Dr. Wichryk enjoys working with people and getting to know his patients and their families personally. “I started Wichryk Eye because I always wanted to have my own practice where I could provide the kind of care that I thought people deserved. I also wanted to be involved in the community that I live in and help the people I see every day.” When Dr. Wichryk is not providing eye care, you can find him enjoying sports, being outside (especially riding his bike at the beach), and spending time with his family. |
Dr. Kristen Roseman, O.D.
Doctor of Optometry
As an optometrist, Dr. Roseman has been in practice for over 10 years. She graduated Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University, then continuing on to receive a Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2003, where she earned honors in Professional Practice and Pediatrics. She completed a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation at the Feinbloom Center in 2004 where she received the William Feinbloom Low Vision Award.
When shes not providing eye care, you can find her crafting, reading, watching science fiction, or playing outside with her girls. Kristen Roseman wants to live in a world where laundry is self folding and chocolate has no calories. |
Geena Wichryk, ABOC
Optician, American Board of Opticianry Certification
Geena Wichryk, board-certified optician, possesses over 20 years of experience in the eye care industry. She holds a degree in ophthalmic science and has a background in design. Having both technical and design backgrounds enables her to provide patients with superior vision, looks, and fit. Geena specializes in working with patients’ unique visual needs and has the gift of educating each patient in easy to understand terms.
Geena also has a special interest in children’s eyewear and has mastered the relationship between optician and child. She regularly fits children, including infants, and dispenses children’s sports safety eyewear as well. Geena enjoys guiding parents in making smart decisions about their child’s eyewear needs. |
Laura Wesolowski, ABOC
Optician, American Board of Opticianry Certification
Laura Wesolowski, board-certified optician, possesses over 20 years of experience in eye care practices. Laura is the managing optician for our optical. She specializes in personalizing the eyewear fitting process to address each patient’s needs, both visually and cosmetically. She is a master at handling difficult adjustments and frame fittings. Laura looks to exceed your expectations with your eyewear and create a “wow” factor.
Frames are brought to each patient to complement both the optics of the lenses to be inserted, and the facial features of the patient. No more of the patient picking their own frame without the knowledge of what will work best for them. Laura has created her own patient following who seek out her expertise and she is highly respected in the eye care industry. |
Leah Wright
Office Manager
If you have a question about your insurance, Leah is your go-to girl. As our Office Manager, Leah's goal is to stay organized and up to date with the constantly changing needs of our practice and the healthcare industry. "I want to help our patients to make informed, positive decisions when it comes to their insurance and their visits with us." She loves all of the unique styles and colors of eyewear that our office has to offer, but she's really drawn to a great cat-eye shape.
In her free time, Leah has recently started to enjoy refinishing and restoring old furniture. She also loves to spend time with her children and her Golden Doodle Shaggy. |
Kim Baab
Frame Stylist
Kim joined Wichryk Eye in March 2016 as an optometric technician. With previous experience as a technician, Kim fit right in with our practice without missing a beat. When she's not assisting patients on the clinical side of our office, you will see Kim in our optical boutique fitting and adjusting glasses. Using her eye for balance and beauty (Kim was also a cosmetology instructor for 8 years) she'll guide you toward the best glasses for your features and lifestyle. She loves fitting our patients with the latest styles and seeing the end results during eyeglass dispensing.
Kim has been married to her wonderful husband Jim for 22 years and they have 3 awesome kids together. When not at the office, you can see Kim riding on the back of Jim's Harley or spending time with her family and 2 dogs, Bella and Oliver. |
Lisa Wilmer
Patient Care Coordinator
Lisa came to our practice in 2015, and has been a familiar face in our office well before that. As a former instructional aid at Alburtis and a member of the Bear Creek hospitality team, Lisa seems to know everyone who walks through our doors! She loves seeing our regular patients throughout the years and is happy to meet new patients with a smiling face.
At checkout, Lisa will be there to guide you through your insurance benefits, order contacts, and will help you schedule appointments if you need to see a specialist. Lisa loves watching movies and spending time with her 2 children and partner Gene, and their little dog Nova. She also loves to read, cook, and enjoy a nice hot cup of tea. |
Taryn Witoslawski
Lead Optometric Technician
As our Lead Technician/Technician Manager, Taryn joined Wichryk Eye in 2018 after 4 years as a surgical coordinator at Grand View Hospital. Her medical knowledge and ability to function in a fast paced environment made her a great fit for Wichryk Eye. She loves the diversity of our patients, and the opportunities this creates for continued, constant learning. She also enjoys making personal connections with our patients and values the opportunity to gain insight from our knowledgeable doctors. Taryn lives with her boyfriend Bryan and their rescue Plott Hound, Myles. In her spare time you can find Taryn kayaking, hiking, camping, and doing anything that involves music and food. She loves all the activities there are to do in the Lehigh Valley, and has enjoyed seeing all the changes in Downtown Allentown over the years.

Jessica Bloch
Optometric Technician
Jess joined the staff at Wichryk Eye in October of 2015. With a career in healthcare that has spanned 15 years, Jess is a natural when it comes to patient care. She has worked with the elderly, dementia/Alzheimer patients and urgent care and is grateful for the learning opportunities each position has offered her. Jess enjoys the satisfaction she feels when helping people, and strives to make a positive difference in the health and well being of our patients.
In April 2016, Jess finalized the adoption of her two young boys that she has been a foster parent for. She admits they keep her on her toes, and she likes to spend her free time playing with them at the park or trampoline park, and snuggling on the couch to watch Power Rangers (not her favorite thing to watch, by far.) |
Samantha Rabins
Optometric Technician
Optometric technician Samantha has been in the eye care field for three years after graduating from California State University Northridge with a BA in psychology. She loves the caring, friendly environment at Wichryk Eye and enjoys helping our patients improve their vision. As a west coast native, Samantha enjoys the seasonal changes of life in PA, but sure does miss the sun and beach of CA. She enjoys art, painting, and crafts, as well as traveling (11 countries down and many more to go!) She has two new cats named Theoden and Arwen.

Gretchen is usually the first face you see as your enter our office doors. She has previously worked as a receptionist at other medical offices, but she is new to eye care and loves the challenges and learning opportunities in her new field at Wichryk. She has raised 4 children (2 girls, 2 boys) and enjoys spending time with her husband, reading the Bible, playing tennis, hiking and spending time in nature soaking up beautiful scenery and sunsets.
